Oyster World oysters are grown in the clear waters of the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Oyster World oysters are grown for 3 years before harvest, twice as long as usual, resulting in much larger oysters for the consumer. Oyster World oysters are only harvested strictly to season – June to December when they are at the peak of their condition. Our oysters are immediately opened in our onsite processing plant, packed into convenient 500ml tubs, to ensure maximum freshness and top condition.

To retain their superb taste, all oysters are washed and packed in sea water from the same area in which they have been raised. The tubs are then chilled down and then packed in chilli boxes with ice, picked up by overnight courier. **   CLICK HERE TO ORDER YOUR OYSTERS NOW

The tubs are then chilled down and then packed in Chilli boxes with ice and transported by overnight courier.
Freight and packaging remains the same for all sizes of chilli box.

– Harvesting can be delayed due to heavy rainfall.
– Customers with a rural delivery address will need to pickup oysters from their Courier depot. If possible please supply your contact phone number.

** We fully pack our tubs with oysters so they are sold by volume and not numbers.

Our oysters vary in size, so accurate estimates of numbers per tub are not possible
but usually fall within the range – approx 10-12 oysters (200ml) & 24-30 oysters (500ml).
The oysters are very big.
